Management is committed to improving the corporate management system and complying with applicable environmental legislation by constantly reminding the entire organization of the importance of meeting applicable requirements for developed processes, whether of a contractual, legal, or regulatory nature.
To this end, it has established this corporate policy, based on measurable objectives and the use of indicators capable of constantly monitoring the system’s ability to satisfy the requirements of the Client and “interested parties.”
The Corporate Policy and the framework of annual objectives are communicated within the organization through meetings involving all personnel, ensuring that the contents are understood and supported at all levels.
Systematic Management reviews allow for the verification of: whether objectives have been achieved and if they remain appropriate and adequate to attain the defined purposes; whether the pursuit of continuous improvement in all corporate processes is effectively implemented; and whether information at the relevant levels of the organization is adequate for the objectives.
Computer Design Management believes that the technical competence and knowledge acquired over time are factors of strong competitive capability in the market and allow for adequate control of impacts on the environment in which the organization operates.

- constant improvement of its environmental performance, with particular reference to waste management and energy resources;
- improvement in the management of chemical substances used during the purchasing, storage, use, and disposal phases;
- orientation in the acquisition of plants and machinery toward those that, with more advanced technologies, guarantee a lower environmental impact;
- continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the corporate management system.

Customer satisfaction is pursued by offering processes and products tailored to their specific needs, both implicit and explicit, and by monitoring both the technical progress of the product and the achievement of established competitiveness goals. Environmental respect is pursued through the preliminary assessment of environmental aspects related to its activities, processes, and products, and through the preparation of control procedures and programs.
Management considers it essential to provide adequate training and awareness to personnel to make them conscious of the environmental aspects related to corporate activities and capable of operating in accordance with the System’s guidelines. For this reason, Computer Design Management provides suitable work environments and the best economically accessible technologies capable of facilitating production activities, and works to establish partnership agreements with suppliers of materials and external processing.
In order to pursue the general objectives it has set, Management has, based on a strategic choice, adopted a process management approach according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and has also implemented the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 45001:2018 standards. This approach is aimed at the continuous improvement of the system and corporate performance, based on decisions derived from the analysis of factual data and feedback from the market, obtained also by managing communication with the Client and other interested parties.
Management therefore commits to satisfying the requirements of the Corporate Management System and to the continuous improvement of quality, environmental, and occupational safety performance, as well as the prevention of pollution. By achieving these objectives, it intends to create, on one hand, a company strongly focused on its Clients to increase market effectiveness and make Customer Satisfaction the differentiating factor in a highly competitive market, and on the other, a company strongly aware of its role in the territory.
The Management System Managers are directly entrusted by Management with the responsibility and authority necessary to ensure the system is prepared, implemented, and kept up to date so that the entire Computer Design organization is aware of the Client’s requirements, taking all necessary measures to achieve these objectives.
Specific objectives are defined annually as part of the Management Review and disseminated to all employees, so that everyone is aware of the importance and relevance of the assigned activities and how each person’s activity contributes to the achievement of general quality and environmental objectives.
As part of the Management Review, the adequacy and continuous suitability of this Policy and the resources made available to corporate strategies are evaluated.
Computer Design recognizes the protection of health and safety in the workplace as an indispensable requirement to be met as an expression of care toward its workers. In order to create an effective Risk Prevention and Protection System, it is necessary to carry out a targeted analysis to identify hazards and assess risks to plan and implement the necessary control measures. Risk analysis is conducted according to the Risk Assessment Procedure (Vdr) and extends to all ordinary and non-ordinary situations (abnormal and emergency situations) and concerns:
- the activities of all personnel who have access to the work environment (including contractors and visitors);
- equipment and materials present in the work environment.
- routine (normal) activities;
- non-routine (extraordinary) activities;
- intentional or unintentional incorrect activities (emergency situations) that can be reasonably foreseeable based on experience regarding the performance of the same or similar activities, accident investigations, and knowledge of human behavior (ref. EN ISO 12100-1);
- activities of all personnel who have access to the work environments (including third parties/visitors);
- personnel background, capabilities, and other human factors;
- infrastructure, materials, substances, machines, and equipment characterizing the workplace;
- any mandatory legal requirement related to risk assessment and the implementation of necessary controls;
- changes or proposed changes to the Corporate Organization;
- identifiable hazards originating outside the workplace but capable of influencing health and safety within the workplace.
The identification of the greatest number of hazards is followed by an assessment of the significance of the associated risks, taking into account all the consequences they may have on people and property in the absence of any planned or existing control systems. The results of this assessment constitute the input for drafting objectives and developing additional safety measures for risk control (prevention and protection). The same methodology is used to examine not only existing activities but also those being planned, in order to evaluate them from a safety perspective. The outcome of the analysis is documented in specific Risk Assessment Documents consisting of a general framework report of corporate activities and a series of “Assessment Sheets” which report, against the identified hazards, the assessment of associated risks and the prevention and protection measures necessary for their control. Although the application of the assessment procedure (Risk Assessment-Vdr) is annual, the assessment sheets are updated whenever the need arises:
- following the analysis of incidents;
- following organizational or production process changes; • following the introduction of new activities, machines, and equipment.
- significant changes to the production process or work organization for the purposes of worker health and safety,
- in relation to the degree of technical evolution, prevention, or protection,
- following significant accidents or when the results of health surveillance highlight the need.
Computer Design has adopted an organization, management, and control model, certified according to the UNI EN ISO 45001:2018 standard, which correlates synergistically and convergently with both the new Consolidated Law on Safety Legislative Decree 81/08 and Legislative Decree 231. 231/01. Legislative Decree 81/08 is aimed at promoting the health and safety of workers in the workplace, while Legislative Decree 231 regulates the administrative liability of companies in relation to certain crimes committed or attempted in the interest or to the advantage of the company itself by directors or employees. This model consists of an organic complex of procedures containing principles, rules, provisions, organizational schemes, and related tasks and responsibilities, functional to the implementation and management of a control and monitoring system for the group’s activities. Computer Design’s Risk Assessment Document is to be considered a fundamental and integral part of the entire integrated quality, safety, and environment management system and the 231 model set up according to the criteria dictated by Legislative Decree 231:2001.

- promoting the continuous improvement of health and safety performance at the facility, ensuring full compliance with laws and regulations as a preliminary step;
- informing and training all personnel on the occupational health and safety management system and its application within Computer Design with an adequate degree of safety, promoting a widespread sense of proactivity for this aspect at every level;
- managing the Site;
- designing and implementing any changes or new activities in a way that takes safety aspects into due account;
- ensuring the systematic evaluation of the site’s safety performance through the implementation of a monitoring system, based on which continuous improvement actions are put in place;
- communicating with customers, suppliers, contractors, and the public to improve site safety;
- communicating with competent public authorities to establish and update emergency and safety procedures.
